Flying to Rome…

Rome is served by two major airports:

Both airports are well-connected to Rome and nearby areas by public transport, taxis, and car rentals.

  • Fiumicino Airport (FCO): Also known as Leonardo da Vinci Airport, it is Rome's largest airport and located about 40 minutes southwest of the city centre. It offers the widest range of international flights.

  • Ciampino Airport (CIA): A smaller airport primarily serving low-cost airlines, located about 30 minutes southeast of the city centre.
