Rome 2025 Jubilee
The Jubilee Year in Rome 2025
So, here’s the deal: Rome is hosting the Jubilee Year 2025, a massive Catholic celebration that only happens once every 25 years. And because we’re Jewish, naturally, we thought, what better time to get married in Rome? Extra blessings never hurt, right?
With millions of pilgrims and visitors flocking to the city for the Jubilee (it’s like their version of a sold-out Yom Kippur service), prices for travel, accommodation, and car rentals may be higher than usual. We highly recommend booking everything as soon as possible to make your trip stress-free.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you in the Eternal City—surrounded by love, laughter, and maybe a few bonus blessings!

There is no Uber in Rome however, there is an app called itTaxi which is great for getting around. They take both cash and card.
Each time we fly into Rome we use this company to pick us up from the airport and they have been lovely. Great service and definitely worth pre-booking a taxi if you are flying into Fiumicino as the airport can get very busy, especially in the summer.
